Tonight’s American Music Award’s saw Celine Dion give a powerful and touching tribute performance for the victims of the recent Paris terror attacks. The French Canadian singer sang ‘Hymne à L’Amour’ as images of Paris appeared behind her.
Dion was accompanied by a string ensemble who added to her soaring vocals to help bring an introspective moment to the night’s proceedings.
Celine took a moment to turn and look at the pictures herself before returning to the mic for the epic song finale. She hadn’t even finished the song before the crowd erupted in a standing ovation as the Eiffel Tower glowed in France’s on the main screen.
