Donald Trump turned out to be the laughing stock of Twitter after unintentionally re-tweeting that he was a “big inspiration” to a husband-and-wife picture of serial killers.
Twitter user Phil Bradbury tweeted at Donald, writing “My parents who passed away always said you were a big inspiration. Can you pls RT for their memory?”
The tweet featured a picture of Fred and Rose West, infamous British serial killers accountable for torturing, raping and slaying numerous young women.
Seemingly, Donald, 68, was not used to their faces, as he retweeted Bradbury, much to the joy of the public. Comedian Dom Joly tweeted “They seem like lovely, kind caring parents, don’t you think Donald?”
@NeonWhisky posted the question, “Did somebody saying you were an inspiration not make you a bit suspicious?”
Other users saw it as a sincere blunder and believed Donald was simply being generous by retweeting.

The tycoon and reality star erased his tweet and openly responded to the prank by calling Phil a “jerk” and threatening to sue him.
In a follow-up tweet, Donald said, “I thought I was nice to someone re their parents. I guess this teaches you not to be nice or trusting. Sad!”
