Kim Kardashian Wants To Eat Her Own Placenta

kim 1Kim Kardashian is all set to eat her own placenta only if it assists her shred her “baby blues.”

In a latest post that is already making waves on the app of the 35-year-old reality star, Kim reveals that she’s having her placenta freeze-dried so that it could be formed into a pill. Kim gave birth to her second child with husband Kanye West, Saint West, on Dec 5.

“I heard so many stories when I was pregnant with North of moms who never ate their placenta with their first baby and then had postpartum depression, but then when they took the pills with their second baby, they did not suffer from depression!” Kim explains. “So I thought, why not try it? What do I have to lose?”

“I really didn’t want the baby blues and thought I can’t go wrong with taking a pill made of my own hormones — made by me, for me,” she adds.

Kim stated that she could not have asked for more and was ecstatic with the results when she initially consumed her placenta after her daughter; North West was born in June 2013.

“I had great results and felt so energized and didn’t have any signs of depression!” Kim writes. “I definitely had to do it again. Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!”

Obviously, this isn’t the first time Kim has shown interest in eating her own placenta. In August 2013, during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she proposed the idea at the time of a family dinner, while she was still expecting North.

“This is such a beautiful dinner, I just lost my appetite. … That is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever heard,” her mother, Kris Jenner, cracked.

“I think everyone is just being really weird and close-minded. Except for Kourtney, she gets it,” Kim said at the time.

The reality superstar is definitely not the first celebrity to admit about eating her placenta. Even Mad Men actress January confirmed eating pills after giving birth to her son, Xander Dane, in September 2011, and former Girls Next Door star Holly Madison said she preferred to take Placenta pills after daughter, Rainbow Aurora, was born in March 2013.

Luckily, Kim is back to her full fitness and in high spirits after giving birth to her son.
