Prelaunch News Conference – May 3

On May 3 at 12:30 p.m. EDT, a prelaunch news conference will take place at Kennedy Space Center. The briefing will follow the completion of CFT’s launch readiness review and will include insights from prominent figures such as NASA Administrator Bill Nelson, NASA’s Commercial Crew Program Manager Steve Stich, and others.

Launch Day – May 6

May 6 marks the highly anticipated launch day of the Crew Flight Test mission. The livestream coverage will commence at 6:30 p.m. EDT, leading up to the scheduled liftoff at 10:34 p.m. EDT. Viewers can witness the entire journey from launch to Starliner’s docking with the ISS.

Post-Launch Press Conference – May 7

Following the successful liftoff, a post-launch press conference is planned for May 7 at midnight EDT. Key participants include NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy and other notable figures from NASA, Boeing, and ULA.

Docking Day at the ISS – May 8

On May 8, Starliner is expected to dock with the ISS at 12:48 a.m. EDT. The hatches between the spacecraft will open at around 2:35 a.m. EDT, with astronauts aboard the ISS delivering welcome remarks shortly after. A post-docking news conference will be held at 4:15 a.m. EDT, featuring important officials from NASA, Boeing, and ULA.
