This move was prompted by the tumultuous period following the collapse of the FTX crypto exchange in November 2022, which significantly impacted Solana’s price.
Vora explained that the decision to move the projects to Ethereum was an attempt to align DeGods with the high-profile NFT projects on the Ethereum ecosystem. However, he later admitted that the move was a reaction to external pressures rather than a strategic conviction.

He acknowledged that seeking short-term approval often leads to unfavorable outcomes. This realization prompted Vora to offer an optional bridge back to Solana for DeGods and y00ts, providing the community with the autonomy to choose their preferred blockchain.
