Netflix and Crystal Dynamics Announce Premiere Date for Tomb Raider Anime Series

Netflix and Crystal Dynamics recently announced that the highly anticipated anime series, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, is set to premiere on October 10. The series, which follows the successful Tomb Raider video game Survivor trilogy, will feature Hayley Atwell as the voice of Lara Croft.

The Series Plot

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft continues the story of Lara Croft after the events of the Survivor trilogy, where she embarks on thrilling adventures across the globe. Lara, voiced by Hayley Atwell, finds herself facing new challenges and uncovering ancient mysteries in dangerous locations.

After parting ways with her friends, Lara takes on solo missions that push her to the limits of danger. However, when a precious Chinese artifact is stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with a personal connection to Lara, she is forced to return home and confront the situation.

Her pursuit of the artifact leads her on a worldwide journey, delving into forgotten tombs and facing her inner demons. Through these trials, Lara must redefine her identity as a hero and make crucial decisions about her future path.

Live-Action Adaptation

In addition to the anime series, Crystal Dynamics and Amazon MGM Studios are collaborating on a live-action adaptation of Tomb Raider. This multi-platform approach aims to expand the Tomb Raider universe and provide fans with diverse storytelling experiences across different mediums.
