Time’s almost up! There’s only one week left to request an invite to The AI Impact Tour on June 5th. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to explore various methods for auditing AI models. Find out how you can attend here.

RelationalAI Launches Knowledge Graph Coprocessor on Snowflake Data Cloud

RelationalAI, a startup that applies artificial intelligence directly to relational data, has announced the general availability of its Knowledge Graph Coprocessor on the Snowflake Data Cloud. This offering enables Snowflake customers to build knowledge graphs and leverage advanced AI and analytics capabilities without moving data out of their Snowflake environment.

“This is a huge win for the customer,” said Molham Aref, cofounder and CEO of RelationalAI. He highlighted that traditionally, to perform tasks like graph analytics and predictive analytics, data would need to be extracted from Snowflake. With the Knowledge Graph Coprocessor, these tasks can now be done within Snowflake itself.

AI on Structured Enterprise Data

Unlike many AI approaches that focus on unstructured data, RelationalAI’s architecture is designed to apply AI directly to structured enterprise data in relational databases like Snowflake. Aref stated, “We’re the only solution that does AI on relational data as extensively as we do. The most valuable enterprise data is often stored in a structured form, and historically, AI hasn’t worked on that data natively.”

The platform has seen significant traction, particularly in industries like financial services, telecommunications, and retail. Companies such as AT&T and Block are already using RelationalAI to build knowledge graphs that provide a semantic layer over their data.

Enabling Generative AI for Enterprises

With the launch on Snowflake, RelationalAI is poised to help companies leverage AI on their structured data in the cloud. Aref believes knowledge graphs will play a crucial role in applying generative AI in the enterprise, especially as interest in technologies like GPT-4o grows.

RelationalAI’s integration with Snowflake has been well-received, with the startup raising $122 million in funding and being valued at $569 million. The partnership has also been highlighted by Snowflake as a key part of its expanding data cloud ecosystem.
