A Distorted Concept of Freedom
In the convoluted minds of the most misguided individuals in America, there exists only one distorted perception of “freedom” that holds significance.
Olivia Rodrigo’s Controversial Partnership
According to National Review, pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo has aligned herself with pro-abortion organizations to ensure that attendees at her concerts are provided with access to abortion-related resources, including abortion pills.
Recently, during her concert in St. Louis, Missouri, the Missouri Abortion Fund set up a booth, disseminating heart-shaped “abortion forever” stickers and distributing the brand-name drug “Julie.” This drug contains levonorgestrel, commonly known as the “morning-after pill” according to the National Institute for Health.
The NIH states that if taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, levonorgestrel can decrease the likelihood of pregnancy by up to 87 percent.
Questioning Messaging Choices
While it is true that abstinence significantly reduces pregnancy risks from voluntary, unprotected sex by an additional 13 percent, neither Rodrigo nor the Missouri Abortion Fund opted to promote this message. Instead, Rodrigo portrayed the archetype of a modern liberal woman who misinterprets enslavement as liberty.
Amidst her current “GUTS” tour, Rodrigo has pledged to allocate a segment of ticket proceeds to her new venture, the “Fund 4 Good” initiative, advocating for a future that champions reproductive health freedom for all women, girls, and individuals, as per National Review.
Expressing distress and fear on stage following the 2022 Supreme Court ruling in the “Dobbs” case, which overturned Roe v. Wade, Rodrigo quoted, “I’m devastated and terrified, so many women and so many girls are going to die because of this.”
The Modern Death Cult
Olivia Rodrigo is not the lone advocate for what can be deemed a contemporary death-driven ideology.
Recall the jubilant scenes on Nov. 7 when Ohio incorporated the “right” to abortion into its state constitution, evoking imagery reminiscent of liberation from oppressive forces. Marking this event, Christian sports writer Jason Whitlock remarked on the celebratory scenes as “a level of satan worship that cannot be matched.”
In a similar vein, MSNBC’s Joy Reid queried the necessity for additional offspring in a country with over 327 million inhabitants, casting aspersions on the need for more children.
Political Prominence on Reproductive Freedom
During the recent State of the Union address, President Joe Biden drew enthusiastic applause from Democrats as he hailed the “electoral power” of women in safeguarding “reproductive freedom.”
Commenting on Biden’s assertions, Tucker Carlson highlighted the prioritization of abortion over essential societal needs, mockingly implying an excessive focus on facilitating abortion at the expense of other critical issues.
The Fundamental “Right” to Fatal Decisions
While liberals challenge various constitutional freedoms, they fervently advocate for the unrestricted right of women to terminate pregnancies, perpetuating the belief that this action symbolizes the pinnacle of freedom.
Colloquially termed as sacrificing children on the altar of self, this distorted notion of freedom pervades the societal fabric, trapping countless individuals, like Olivia Rodrigo, in a perilous illusion of empowerment and autonomy.
