Special Counsel Robert Hur Testifies on Biden’s Stolen Classified Documents Scandal

Special Counsel Robert Hur recently testified before Congress regarding President Biden’s involvement in a scandal related to stolen classified documents. Hur had conducted an investigation into the matter, leading to the release of a comprehensive 345-page report last month.

The stolen classified documents were discovered in various locations, including damaged cardboard boxes, unlocked drawers at the Penn Biden Center, Biden’s Delaware garage, and basement den. Despite the clear mishandling of SCIF-designated documents, Joe Biden was not criminally charged for his actions.

During his testimony, Robert Hur revealed that Joe Biden had attempted to influence the contents of the report before its public release. Prior to the publication of the report, Biden’s legal team had engaged in confrontational exchanges with Hur, accusing the Justice Department of portraying Biden in a negative light.

Biden’s Legal Team Challenges Hur’s Report

According to reports from Politico, Biden’s attorneys expressed outrage over Hur’s characterization of Biden as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” They vehemently objected to the inclusion of references to Biden’s alleged dementia and memory issues in the report.

Furthermore, Biden’s legal team accused Robert Hur of violating DOJ policies by releasing the full report rather than a confidential summary. They accused him of unfairly targeting Biden with negative portrayals of his conduct.

White House Attempts to Influence Report

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan grilled Hur during the testimony, questioning whether the White House had tried to alter the report’s contents before its public disclosure. Hur confirmed that the White House had indeed requested edits and changes to the report, indicating an attempt to manipulate the investigation’s findings.
