Reboot Protocol Partners with The Xai Foundation to Migrate BattlePlan Game

Pixel Vault’s BattlePlan game is set to undergo a significant shift as Reboot Protocol announced its collaboration with The Xai Foundation to transition the game to the Xai gaming network on Ethereum. This strategic move will see BattlePlan leverage Xai’s state-of-the-art Arbitrum-based layer-3 technology as it migrates from its current platform, Arbitrum Nova.

Enhancing Player Experience Through Blockchain Technology

Pixel Vault CEO Sean Gearin expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the goal of building an ecosystem that combines entertainment with blockchain technology to deliver added value to players, content creators, and developers. By aligning with The Xai Foundation, Pixel Vault aims to expand the game’s reach and provide an enriched gaming experience.

BattlePlan, characterized as an “auto-brawler” game reminiscent of classic arcade beat-’em-ups, has garnered a substantial following, boasting 5,000 weekly active users and an average playtime of two hours per day. The game’s first season has seen active participation from over 10,000 players, resulting in more than 7.5 million transactions to date.

Strategic Transition to a Gaming-Optimized Blockchain

By migrating to the Xai network alongside Reboot Protocol, Pixel Vault intends to capitalize on a blockchain platform specifically tailored for gaming. This move is anticipated to enhance game stability, transaction speeds, and overall player engagement as BattlePlan continues to grow in popularity.

Xai core contributor Soby expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting Pixel Vault’s track record at the forefront of Web3 advancements. The partnership with Xai signifies a shared commitment to push the boundaries of Web3 gaming and deliver innovative experiences to players.

Expanding the Xai Gaming Network

The Xai network, which introduced its XAI token earlier this year, has been steadily expanding its gaming portfolio and partnerships. Notable additions include the upcoming migration of the Crypto Unicorns gaming franchise from Polygon and a collaboration with The Media Indie Exchange (The MIX) to onboard over 100 games from indie studios by the end of 2024.
