Blumhouse Announces Re-Release of Classic Films

Blumhouse, known for its horror movies, is set to re-release some of its iconic films in theaters this month. The company’s initiative aims to bring back fan-favorite movies for audiences to enjoy on the big screen.

Halfway to Halloween Film Festival

Blumhouse has teamed up with AMC Theaters to launch the Halfway to Halloween film festival, a five-day event taking place from Friday, March 29 to Tuesday, April 2. This festival will feature screenings of popular Blumhouse films, including Split, The Purge, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Insidious, and The Invisible Man.

These screenings will not only offer a chance for fans to relive these movies but also include giveaways and special messages from the directors or cast members of the films.

Blumhouse is offering tickets at an affordable price of $8 per screening, making it accessible for horror fans to enjoy a night out at the movies. The festival aims to bring together local communities of horror enthusiasts for a thrilling and enjoyable cinematic experience.

Summer of Re-Releases

Blumhouse’s re-releases are part of a trend in the film industry this summer. Other studios, like Dreamworks and Sony, are also revisiting classic movies to celebrate milestones. Dreamworks is bringing back Shrek 2 for its 20th anniversary, while Sony is re-releasing its Spider-Man movies to mark significant anniversaries.
