Judicial Watch presented a series of heavily redacted text messages sourced from undisclosed persons, stating, “Command post is at JERSEY and D St SE” and further adding recipients to the communication group. One message at 1:21 p.m. references contact made with the FBI about the discovery of three potential devices, raising concerns about a total of five devices in existence. Subsequent messages elaborate on the chaotic scenes unfolding, such as law enforcement officers facing aggression on the west side of the Capitol.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) records contain specific references to CIA involvement. One communication mentions “two CIA bomb techs” aiding in responding to a pipe bomb incident in the vicinity of New Jersey and D ST SE, while another alludes to the presence of multiple CIA dog teams on standby, ready to assist if needed.
Group texts highlighted moments of tension and urgency, citing the discovery of two explosive devices at the DNC building and one at the RNC. The text also documented incidents such as breaches of security, a shooting on the House floor resulting in civilian casualties, and the Capitol Police mobilizing resources to maintain order amid the unfolding events.

Judicial Watch’s President, Tom Fitton, raised critical questions regarding the motivations behind the CIA’s involvement.
