Failure to Console: Mother-in-Law of Fallen Soldier Speaks Out

The lack of empathy and communication from the Biden administration towards families of fallen soldiers has once again come to light. This was evident in a recent interview on CNN where the mother-in-law of a female soldier, who tragically lost her life during Biden’s flawed Afghanistan withdrawal, shared her experience.

During the interview, the CNN host, seemingly living in a bubble of admiration for Biden, assumed that the President had reached out to the family. However, the mother-in-law quickly corrected this misconception, revealing that they had never heard from anyone in the Biden administration. This revelation left the host stunned, highlighting the stark contrast between the media’s perception of Biden as the ‘Consoler in Chief’ and the reality faced by grieving families.

When questioned about any interaction with Biden, the mother-in-law expressed disappointment, stating that no outreach had been made by the White House despite efforts on their part to initiate contact. Desiring a meeting with the administration, the family received no response even after months of waiting. This lack of acknowledgment and support from the President showcases a disheartening disconnect between the image projected by the media and the actions, or lack thereof, taken by the Biden administration.

It is concerning to note that Biden has not even publicly mentioned the names of the 13 servicemembers who lost their lives at Abbey Gate during the Afghan withdrawal. Despite being hailed as a great consoler by the media, Biden’s failure to address these deaths directly raises questions about the sincerity of his supposed empathy.

While it may come as no surprise to many outside the media bubble, instances like these serve as a reminder that the corporate media’s portrayal of political figures often differs from the reality faced by ordinary citizens. The discrepancy between perception and truth highlights the importance of scrutinizing official narratives and holding leaders accountable for their actions, particularly in times of crisis and tragedy.
