Agreement Reached Between Eagles and Brandon Graham

The Philadelphia Eagles have officially announced an agreement with defensive end Brandon Graham on a one-year deal. This deal marks a significant milestone for Graham, as he is set to become the first player in franchise history to play 15 seasons with the team. This achievement surpasses a longstanding record held by Hall of Famer Chuck Bednarik.

Brandon Graham’s Career Highlights

Originally drafted as a first-round pick in 2010, Graham has been a key player for the Eagles throughout his career. In 2022, he reached a personal milestone with the impressive performance of 11 sacks. Despite the opportunity to explore free agency last year, Graham chose to sign a team-friendly one-year contract worth $5 million to continue playing for Philadelphia.

Transitioning into a rotational role, Graham continued to make an impact on the field, contributing three sacks and six quarterback hits last season. Notably, he delivered a crucial sack and three tackles for loss in the Eagles’ wild-card playoff defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

One of Graham’s most memorable moments came during the Eagles’ historic Super Bowl LII victory over the New England Patriots. His strip sack of Tom Brady played a pivotal role in securing the championship for Philadelphia, solidifying his legacy as a key player in franchise history.

Despite facing early career setbacks due to injuries, Graham overcame challenges and disproved any doubts about his potential as a player. Throughout his tenure with the Eagles, he has amassed an impressive record of 73 sacks, 120 tackles for loss, and 146 quarterback hits. Beyond his on-field contributions, Graham has also been recognized for his leadership qualities and positive influence on the team’s culture.
