Voice AI Startup Launches Audio Native

ElevenLabs, a voice AI startup, recently unveiled their latest innovation called Audio Native. This embeddable audio player uses text-to-speech technology to automatically narrate web content. It is designed to cater to individuals with visual or reading comprehension difficulties and those with limited time.

Constant Innovation from ElevenLabs

Audio Native is just the latest addition to ElevenLabs’ suite of offerings. In addition to this new product, they also introduced ElevenLabs Reader, a tool that can voice text from web pages and documents in 11 different voices. The company’s voice AI models can speak in 29 languages, dub movies, and even turn prompts into song lyrics.

For a fee of $11 per month at the “creator” tier, Audio Native users can access the tool along with built-in metrics and a listener dashboard for monitoring audience engagement. Notable websites like The Atlantic and The New York Times have already utilized ElevenLabs’ capabilities to enhance their content.

Voice Websites with Ease

To use Audio Native, website owners simply need to provide a brief HTML snippet and select a voice from the available options. Customization features include choosing background and text colors, and the tool supports a pronunciation dictionary for brand-specific terms. The voiceover generation process can be tailored using CSS selectors, catering to individual preferences.

Supported platforms for Audio Native include React, Squarespace, WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, and Framer, making it accessible to a wide range of users. Early feedback on the tool has been positive, with users praising its ability to enhance accessibility and user experience.
