Ford Expands Mustang Driving School for All New Buyers

When Ford introduced the Mustang Dark Horse in 2022, it offered buyers a unique opportunity to enhance their driving skills with a hands-on track instruction and driving experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Despite this option for driver training, incidents of Mustang crashes have continued to plague the brand, tarnishing the reputation of the iconic vehicle.

In response to these challenges, Ford has decided to expand the Dark Horse track school to all new Mustang buyers, aiming to provide comprehensive training and education to improve driving proficiency and safety on the road.

Introducing Mustang Unleashed Program

Under the new program, dubbed Mustang Unleashed, owners of standard Mustang GTs and EcoBoost models can now also benefit from specialized training to maximize the performance and enjoyment of their vehicles. Ford promises a fun and engaging experience, although specific details of the program have not yet been disclosed.

The expanded event will still take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where participants may have the opportunity to engage in various driving activities such as drifting, drag racing, and precision driving exercises. While the exact nature of these activities remains uncertain, the Unleashed program is expected to provide an entertaining and educational experience for Mustang enthusiasts.

By extending the driving school to a wider range of owners, Ford aims to promote responsible and skilled driving practices, discouraging reckless behavior that could lead to accidents. Through education and hands-on training, the company hopes to instill a sense of respect for the power and capabilities of the Mustang, fostering a safer and more enjoyable driving environment for all enthusiasts.

Ultimately, the expanded Mustang driving school represents Ford’s commitment to enhancing the ownership experience for all buyers, empowering them with the knowledge and skills necessary to fully appreciate and enjoy the legendary Mustang heritage.
