Challenges Faced by Political Prisoner Jake Lang
Recently, Jake Lang, a political prisoner arrested in connection with the January 6 protests, reached out to supporters with a plea. Lang, along with fellow prisoner Ryan Samsel, requested relocation to a “non-gang affiliated unit” at the Brooklyn MDC Prison to ensure their safety. This request came after the Biden administration transferred them from the DC Gulag to Brooklyn, following the two men experiencing severe abuse from prison officials, Biden administration members, and DC judges.
The Plight of Jake Lang
Jake Lang has languished in prison for over three years without a trial, a blatant violation of his constitutional rights. His involvement in the January 6 events led to his incarceration, where he played a role in saving Philip Anderson’s life but was unable to prevent the tragic death of Rosanne Boyland. Shockingly, despite the loss of four Trump supporters’ lives that day, no police officer has been held accountable for their actions.

Amidst reports of his current situation, former US Capitol Police officer Aquilino Gonell made veiled threats against Lang on Twitter. These threats were met with a strong response from Jake Lang, who condemned Gonell’s actions and called out his dishonesty regarding the injuries he claimed to have suffered on January 6.
Aquilino Gonell’s false claims of injuries sustained during the protests were debunked through evidence, contradicting his testimonies in court and media interviews. His attempt to portray himself as a victim was exposed, highlighting the falsehoods propagated by the former police officer.
