The suspect, identified as Dazhon Darien, was intercepted at a Baltimore airport while attempting to board a flight to Houston with a weapon. Upon investigation, authorities discovered that Darien employed an AI cloning tool to fabricate Eiswert’s voice. The AI-generated voice recording, which circulated extensively on social media, contained derogatory comments aimed at Black students and the Jewish community.
After conducting a thorough inquiry, the Baltimore County Police pronounced that the audio recording was indeed fraudulent. Their investigations revealed traces of AI-generated content within the recording, prompting the disclosure of this deceptive ploy.
