Frontier Airlines: Leading the Way in Pricing Transparency

In response to the United States government’s intensified efforts to eliminate deceptive fees and unfair practices prevalent in the airline industry, Frontier Airlines has made significant strides towards enhancing pricing transparency in their operations.

Frontier Airlines, headquartered in Denver, unveiled a comprehensive set of changes on Friday, designed to provide customers with a clear understanding of their pricing structure. One notable adjustment includes the elimination of fees for flight changes or cancellations. Moreover, the airline will now prominently display their four travel class options, namely Basic, Economy, Premium, and Business, along with the associated benefits of each class upfront. Noteworthy among the changes implemented by Frontier Airlines is the extension of the validity period for flight credits issued to passengers on or after May 17. Additionally, in adherence to new regulations introduced by the U.S. Department of Transportation, airlines will now be required to disclose upfront fees associated with checked and carry-on bags, as well as costs pertaining to reservation changes or cancellations.
