Rep. Troy Nehls Discusses Illegal Alien Crime Wave on FOX and Friends

Representative Troy Nehls (R-TX) appeared on FOX and Friends alongside Rachel Campos-Duffy to address the current illegal alien crime wave in the United States, which has been exacerbated by President Joe Biden’s open border policies.

During the discussion, Rep. Nehls highlighted how GOP lawmakers had previously alerted Secretary Mayorkas about the potential crime risks associated with allowing thousands of Venezuelan gang members to enter the country. Unfortunately, Nehls never received a response from Mayorkas, indicating a lack of concern from the administration regarding the presence of illegal alien gang members.

Secretary Mayorkas faced impeachment by the US House in February, as he and President Biden have overseen the largest mass invasion of America in history since Biden assumed office. Over 10 million illegal aliens have crossed the open border into the United States during this period.

Insights from Rep. Troy Nehls

Rachel Campos-Duffy: Why do you think Secretary Mayorkas refused to address your concerns or respond to your letter?

Rep. Troy Nehls: Rachel, I appreciate the opportunity to discuss this critical issue. It is essential to highlight that Border Patrol had issued a report warning about the influx of dangerous individuals from Venezuela to the southern border. In September 2022, I personally sent a letter to Secretary Mayorkas encompassing ten crucial questions, seeking clarity on the administration’s plan in light of the Border Patrol report. Regrettably, we received no response from the administration. Tragically, around the same time as my letter, an individual named Ibarra, a murderer and thug, breached the southern border and later took the life of Riley in Texas. The lack of a thorough system to vet these individuals poses significant challenges.

Rep. Troy Nehls emphasized the violent nature of these gangs, who had been causing havoc in Latin America before making their way to the US. Despite the extensive knowledge possessed by government intelligence agencies, it appears that they failed to anticipate the consequences of allowing individuals associated with Nicolas Maduro to enter the country.
