In a recent development, customs officials in Hong Kong made a significant discovery by seizing 146 kilograms of gold valued at approximately $10 million. This event, which occurred on a cargo plane bound for Japan, marks the largest gold smuggling case in the history of Hong Kong.

Despite the initial concealment, an x-ray scan of two air compressors revealed the hidden gold integrated within the machine components.
