Protestors at University of Pittsburgh Demonstrating Against Candace Owens

A demonstration by a group of literal clowns outside a Turning Point USA event at the University of Pittsburgh on Tuesday evening attracted attention. The protestors were chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer — get these fascists out of here!”

Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point, shared a video of the protest on social media with the caption: “A literal ‘queer’ clown show is protesting Candace Owens outside of tonight’s TPUSA event at the University of Pittsburgh. If this is the face of left wing outreach, please send more!!”

Candace Owens, who was the target of the protest, was on campus speaking about “freedom and American Values” as part of TPUSA’s Live Free Tour. Following the event at the University of Pittsburgh, Owens will be speaking at Louisiana State University on March 21. More information about the tour dates can be found on the official website.

Conclusion

The protest at the University of Pittsburgh, though unusual with its use of literal clowns, adds to the ongoing dialogue and debate surrounding political figures such as Candace Owens and organizations like Turning Point USA.
