Man Suspected of Killing Three People in Pennsylvania Taken Into Custody in New Jersey
Authorities have reported that a man who is believed to have killed three individuals in Pennsylvania has been apprehended in Trenton. The suspect, Andre Gordon, age 26, was taken into custody after being located near a residence where he had barricaded himself. This arrest was made by Steve Wilson, the police director of Trenton.
NJ.com has provided details regarding the incident. According to reports, Gordon, who is suspected of being homeless with connections to Trenton, is accused of murdering his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, and the 25-year-old mother of his children, Taylor Daniel. These tragic events took place at two separate residences in Falls Township, a suburb of Philadelphia located approximately six miles from New Jersey.
The chain of events allegedly began when Gordon carjacked a vehicle in the vicinity of the Donnelly Homes in North Trenton on Saturday morning. Subsequently, he crossed state lines in the stolen vehicle to Falls Township where the fatal shootings occurred.
Gordon is said to have shot and killed his stepmother and sister at their home on ViewPoint Lane in the Levittown section of Falls Township before 9 a.m., as stated by Bucks County District Attorney Jen Schorn during a press briefing. Fortunately, other individuals within the residence were able to evade harm by hiding from Gordon as he searched for them.
Gordon proceeded to Edgewood Lane, where he reportedly murdered the mother of his children. The victim’s mother and four other individuals were present at the time of the incident. The mother of the deceased is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
This situation remains an ongoing investigation with more details expected to emerge.
