The 26-year-old sustained the lower-body injury during a match against the Boston Bruins on March 7 and has been absent from gameplay since then. Keefe informed the press that Marner has been on the ice for the past few days, and the current plan is for him to rest the next day and then continue his rehabilitation regimen.

Keefe mentioned that a decision on Bertuzzi’s availability would be deliberated just before the game.
Bertuzzi’s contributions to the team include 15 goals and 34 points across 67 appearances.

Defenceman Ilya Lyubushkin continues to be sidelined due to illness and will not feature in the upcoming match against the Oilers.
