Hasbro Reveals New Figures for Transformers, G.I. Joe, Marvel, and Star Wars

This past weekend at Wondercon, Hasbro unveiled a plethora of new action figures for its beloved franchises, including Transformers, G.I. Joe, Marvel, and Star Wars. One standout reveal that has caught the attention of fans is the long-awaited addition to the Star Wars lineup – Momaw Nadon, also known as Hammerhead.

Momaw Nadon, a quirky Ithorian bar patron briefly seen in “A New Hope” at the iconic Mos Eisley Cantina, is an unexpected yet delightful choice for an action figure. Despite his minimal screen time, he left a lasting impression on audiences and has since become a cult favorite among Star Wars enthusiasts.

The Star Wars franchise’s early foray into merchandise following the film’s release ensured that even the most obscure characters like Momaw Nadon would eventually receive their own action figures. As one of the first characters to be immortalized in plastic, Momaw became a symbol of the toy industry’s transformation brought about by Star Wars. While there have been iterations of the character in figure form over the years, Hasbro’s Black Series had yet to introduce a 6″-scaled version – until now.

Last year, Hasbro teased fans with a special action figure of an Ithorian character from the Galaxy’s Edge theme park, sparking speculation that Momaw Nadon would soon follow. Now, enthusiasts can rejoice as the authentic Momaw Nadon figure joins Hasbro’s prestigious Black Series lineup, offering collectors a chance to own a piece of Star Wars history.

Exciting New Releases

In addition to Momaw Nadon, Hasbro showcased an array of new figures at Wondercon, catering to fans of Transformers, G.I. Joe, Marvel, and Star Wars alike. Marvel enthusiasts can look forward to a diverse range of Iron Man figures in the Marvel Legends line, while Star Wars Rebels fans will be delighted by the latest additions to the series.

Overall, Hasbro’s latest reveals have generated buzz among collectors and fans, reaffirming the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, nostalgia-inducing action figures across its various franchises. With Momaw Nadon finally making his debut in the Black Series, the force is strong with Hasbro’s lineup of collectibles.
