Nifty Island Speedrunning Challenge
Nifty Island, a revolutionary Ethereum blockchain game centered around user-generated content, has recently unveiled an exciting new initiative. This initiative involves the launch of a two-part speedrunning challenge revolving around a newly introduced play mode known as “Break the Targets.” Notably, both level creators and players will have the opportunity to earn coveted NFT rewards by participating in this thrilling challenge.
The Challenge
Over the upcoming weekend, talented level creators will have the chance to craft their very own unique courses within the “Break the Targets” play mode. These courses will serve as engaging arenas in which players can strive to optimize their runs while aiming to hit various targets along the way. Following the course creation phase, a community team will select the top three “most creative courses.” Subsequently, players will be tasked with setting record times while navigating these chosen courses.
In a recent tweet, Nifty Island enthusiastically declared, “Builders and speedrunners, this is your time to shine!”
Creators participating in the challenge must finalize their courses and submit a video showcasing their creation on Twitter by the designated deadline of 4pm EST on March 31. The video submission must include the hashtag #Nifty and should be shared in the “BTT-challenge” channel within the official Nifty Island Discord server.

Judging Criteria and Prizes
Entries will be evaluated based on criteria such as visual appeal, entertainment value, and innovation. Detailed guidelines for submission and judging can be found within the Discord server. Nifty Island, which was introduced in January, is a cutting-edge 3D social gaming platform that enables players to design their own islands, complete quests, earn NFT rewards, and partake in airdrops. Noteworthy features include cross-chain compatibility with Ethereum, Polygon, and Base.
Winners of the challenge will be entitled to exclusive NFT prizes, including sought-after items like Palms, Ultra Blades, and Legendary Pistols. These limited-edition, tokenized in-game assets may confer unique advantages as Nifty Island evolves, particularly in the context of the ongoing play-to-airdrop initiative leading up to the debut of the ISLAND token.
The top three courses selected in the challenge will be honored with an Iron Palm prize. Furthermore, the top 10 speedrunners across these courses will receive valuable rewards, such as Bronze Palms, Iron Palms, Ultra Blades for the top three performers, and a Legendary Pistol for the remaining participants.
