Nyan Heroes Pre-Alpha Demo Receives Over 100,000 Players
Nyan Heroes, the innovative Solana-based feline mech shooter, recently announced a significant milestone, revealing that the pre-alpha demo of the game has attracted more than 100,000 players since its launch on the Epic Games Store on March 25. The developer, 9 Lives Interactive, expressed their delight with the positive reception the game has received in a Medium post.
Leaderboard Rewards and NFTs
With the pre-alpha demo set to conclude on April 9, Nyan Heroes revealed plans to introduce leaderboard rewards for the top performers. These rewards include exclusive Nyan Heroes Genesis Guardian NFTs and additional MEOW points that contribute to the upcoming token airdrop of the game’s NYAN token.
According to Nyan Heroes, the top three players in the demo will receive Legendary, Ultrarare, and Rare Genesis Nyan NFTs, respectively. Players ranking from fourth to tenth place will be rewarded with a Genesis Nyan NFT, while those in the 11th to 20th positions will each receive a Genesis Guardian NFT.
Leaderboard Ranking and Rewards System
The ranking on the leaderboard is determined by the total number of wins achieved during the pre-alpha demo. The more wins a player accumulates, the higher their position on the leaderboard will be. The top 100 players will be showcased on the leaderboard, while those outside this range can view their rank at the bottom of the list alongside their usernames.
Additionally, in the event of tied wins between players, the individual with the higher rank will receive the superior rewards. Every win contributes to a player’s MEOW points, with rewards increasing with each leaderboard success. For instance, if two players are tied in wins at ranks 500 and 501, the latter will be rewarded at the same level as the former.
Nyan Heroes also highlighted that all MEOW rewards earned through the leaderboard boost will be factored into a player’s point total before any multiplier effects come into play. Ultimately, the top 7,500 players will receive a bonus in MEOW points, enhancing the competitive atmosphere of the game.
Upcoming NFT Program and Token Launch
Nyan Heroes previously announced that players who possess Nyan Heroes or Guardians NFTs will be eligible for additional rewards. During a recent play-to-airdrop campaign, 9 Lives Interactive offered double the MEOW points in a limited-time promotional event. The NYAN token is scheduled to debut on the Solana blockchain post the completion of the play-to-airdrop campaign.
