One of the highlights is their impressive appearance on their own float during the Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration parade at Disney’s California Adventure. Guests can witness red panda Mei performing “Nobody Like You” alongside 4*Town and her close friends, with even Mei’s dad joining in the fun in a cardboard red panda costume. This incorporation of a boy band element into the parade adds a fresh and exciting dimension to the festivities, drawing fans of both Disney and Turning Red alike.

Nighttime Spectacular
Furthermore, during the nighttime spectacular event titled Together Forever: A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular, Turning Red takes center stage once again. The first segment of the show features Mei’s character introduction and her stunning red panda transformation sequence, set against a backdrop of mesmerizing fireworks. The sight of a larger-than-life panda Mei projected onto the Sleeping Beauty castle adds a magical touch to the performance, captivating audiences with its creativity and visual splendor.
KC Wilkerson, the principal media designer for Disney Live Entertainment at the Disneyland Resort and show director for Together Forever, expressed that Turning Red’s storyline perfectly aligns with the parade’s overarching theme of friendship, unity, and shared adventures. The show incorporates Turning Red into its narrative, culminating in a touching moment that resonates with fans of the film. Wilkerson shared, “We’ve also changed what we call the walk-out of the show – we changed the song so we get to enjoy an instrumental version of ‘Nobody Like You’ from Turning Red.” This thoughtful inclusion underscores Disney’s commitment to immersing audiences in the world of Turning Red while celebrating the power of friendship and togetherness.
