Despite a positive uptick in turnover from nearly 6 million pounds ($7.5 million) to 10.5 million pounds ($13.3 million), Wrexham faced mounting losses, escalating from 2.9 million pounds ($3.66 million) to 5.1 million pounds ($6.4 million).

Reynolds and McElhenney acquired Wrexham, a longstanding soccer institution, for $2.5 million when the club resided in the fifth tier of English football. Since then, Wrexham has achieved promotion to the English Football League and is now in contention for consecutive promotions, potentially advancing to League One, the third tier of English football.
League Standing and Future Prospects
Currently standing at third place in League Two, Wrexham is preparing for a crucial match against table-toppers Mansfield. The club’s positioning is promising, with a three-point lead over fourth-placed MK Dons and a game in hand. The top three teams in the division secure automatic promotion, while the next four enter a playoff for one additional promotion spot.
