The administrator of Shiba Inu’s Shibarium Tech’s Discord and Telegram channels is currently facing a barrage of falsehoods regarding their commitment to implementing the auto-burn feature. He strongly believes that these lies are detracting from the advancement of Shibarium, particularly the ecosystem’s Layer 2 upgradability service.
His statements, disseminated through the Shib Army OGs, quickly gained traction within the community. He expressed a sense of positivity when he noticed a surge in inquiries about Shibarium and its progress. This surge indicated genuine interest and engagement from the community members.
Furthermore, the administrator revealed that a significant amount of SHIB tokens were deliberately removed from circulation in March as part of Shibarium’s operational processes, a decision made by the developers. He emphasized the importance of community participation in Shibarium to witness the token burns, which are integral to the blockchain’s functionality.
In addition, under the alias DaVinci, the administrator called out influencers for disseminating misinformation and urged community members to prioritize Shibarium’s development. He underscored the need to avoid distractions and maintain a laser focus on the project’s core objectives.
Challenges and Misconceptions in the Community
DaVinci highlighted a scenario where certain accounts advocated for Vitalik Buterin to adopt SHIB as Ethereum’s gas fee token instead of the traditional Ether (ETH). Another Shib Army OG echoed his sentiments, cautioning against exchanging ETH for SHIB, as it would not benefit anyone and would tarnish the reputation of the ShibArmy.
The OG member emphasized the importance of using Bone gas for burning SHIB tokens during transactions to address supply-demand imbalances and prevent price volatility that could negatively impact Shib’s credibility.
Ultimately, the community must remain steadfast in its dedication to advancing Shibarium and resist being swayed by baseless rumors.
