Despite the current costs associated with building each unit in the “tens of millions of dollars” range, Sierra Space is actively working to reduce these expenses to “single-digit millions.” This commitment to cost-efficiency reflects the company’s dedication to making the Ghost system accessible for a wide range of applications.

Looking ahead, Sierra Space is exploring the potential for scaling up the Ghost concept to accommodate larger payloads, such as modules of the International Space Station (ISS). While challenges exist in redesigning the system for larger payloads, Sierra Space remains committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in space cargo delivery.
