Star Wars Outlaws: A New Chapter in Gaming

Ubisoft’s latest creation, Star Wars Outlaws, promises to bring a fresh perspective to the gaming world with its unique focus on heists in the Star Wars universe. While there have been numerous Star Wars games in various genres, including shooters, racers, and action-adventures, the concept of heists has yet to be explored in the gaming realm.

Set between the events of Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, players will assume the role of Kay Vess, a young criminal seeking her freedom and aiming to pull off the most daring heist the galaxy has ever seen. Accompanied by her loyal pet Nix and droid companion ND-5, Kay traverses different planets, executing jobs while evading the grasp of the Empire.

Similar to other games of its kind, Kay will encounter a diverse cast of characters, each with their own expertise in the criminal underworld. The allure of embarking on criminal escapades in the vast expanse of the Star Wars universe adds a layer of excitement and intrigue to the gaming experience.

The First Fully Open-World Star Wars Game

Star Wars Outlaws marks the first fully open-world game in the Star Wars franchise, offering players the opportunity to explore a galaxy far, far away like never before. Previous attempts to create an open-world Star Wars game have faced challenges, as seen in past endeavors such as the cancelled project by Visceral Games. However, Ubisoft’s track record in developing immersive gameplay mechanics, encompassing stealth, combat, and vehicular action, instills confidence in the success of Star Wars Outlaws.
