Disney+ Announces Release Window for “Skeleton Crew”

During an exclusive interview with Collider at CCXP (Comic Con Experience Brazil), director Jon Watts, known for his work on Spider-Man: Homecoming, announced that “Skeleton Crew” is scheduled to debut on Disney+ around Christmas. This update marks the first substantial information shared by Watts since he initially hinted at the series in 2022, including the exclusive footage unveiled at last year’s Star Wars Celebration event.
A Glowing Review from Actress Kerry Condon
Recently, actress Kerry Condon, who stars alongside Jude Law in the series, shared her positive experience working on “Skeleton Crew.” Condon expressed her admiration for the talented filmmakers involved in the project, stating that her time on set was “so great … I loved it, and I loved being on it.” She described the show as “innocent, playful, and lovely,” highlighting its adventurous spirit and the exceptional directors assigned to each episode, such as the Daniels (from Everything Everywhere All at Once), Bryce Dallas Howard (known for The Mandalorian), Lee Isaac Chung (director of Minari), and David Lowery (known for The Green Knight).
Condon also praised the young actors leading the series, emphasizing their remarkable talent. She stated, “When children are good actors, they’re kind of out-of-this-world good—so watching some of the kids’ scenes, it was amazing. I don’t even have kids, but I’d pay to see this.” The show will feature Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, and Ryan Kiera Armstong as the protagonists on a quest to find their way back to their home planet.
