STP Introduces Clique for AI-Enhanced Gaming on Base

On March 21, STP made the announcement of the introduction of Clique on Twitter. Clique is a Layer 3 blockchain specifically designed for AI-Enhanced Gaming on Base, a new Ethereum L2 platform that has been incubated by Coinbase. It is built upon the open-source OP Stack, garnering attention from the Base community due to its low transaction fees and data availability charges.

Enhancing Blockchain Interactions

Clique’s implementation opens up possibilities for intricate computations and interactions on the blockchain. It sets a precedent for integrating autonomous on-chain agents and AI-powered gameplay, paving the way for innovation in the gaming industry.

Establishing a Strong Community

STP has successfully built a robust community within Base’s ecosystem. This is evidenced by the popularity of the top three trending titles in Ancient Forest and the creation of over two thousand ERC-6551 creations in AWNS. Eternal Legacy, the inaugural game on Clique, offers strategic card battles enhanced by artificial intelligence.

Optimizing Efficiency and Scalability

Clique, a Layer 3 rollup chain on Base, utilizes Celestia’s data availability sampling to boost efficiency, scalability, and performance. Its primary objective is to prepare for the heavy workload that AI-enhanced on-chain gaming will introduce. By integrating Airstack’s APIs, Clique aims to streamline smart contract processing for on-chain gaming and improve scalability.

Empowering Developers

STP’s introduction of Clique leverages its existing infrastructure and integrations to support the ecosystem. The “Game Portal” centralizes information on Clique and provides access to AWNS, fostering integration with other games. Additionally, the “Community” application allows AI and gaming enthusiasts to engage with various gaming communities.

To further empower developers, STP plans to offer project grants, developer resources, and release the “Developer Engine” SDK for Clique. This initiative encourages developers and creators to leverage Clique’s resources and actively contribute to the evolution of the gaming industry.
