This survey, which took place from March 10-12, 2024, gathered responses from 1,559 U.S. adult citizens on their presidential preferences in a hypothetical matchup between Trump and Biden.
Among all respondents and registered voters, Trump currently holds a two-point lead over Biden, with 44 percent of the support compared to Biden’s 42 percent. This marks a shift from earlier in March when both candidates were tied at 44 percent each. Trump continues to enjoy strong backing from Republicans, with 89 percent support, while Biden retains similar support from Democrats at 89 percent.
