Protest Against Comedian Kathy Griffin in Huntington, New York

Dozens of individuals who support former President Donald Trump gathered in Huntington, New York, to demonstrate against the upcoming appearance of comedian and former “The View” co-host Kathy Griffin.

Just before Griffin was scheduled to perform her show titled “My Life on the PTSD List” at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, a group of Trump supporters organized a protest caravan. The convoy comprised approximately 17 vehicles adorned with Trump 2024 flags, patriotic decorations, and slogans. They gathered near the Paramount Theater, where Griffin was expected to hold her performance, and voiced their opposition by honking their horns.

Responding to the demonstration, Griffin shared her thoughts on Instagram, expressing anticipation to witness the protest aimed at her show in Huntington. She referred to the attendees as “a group of losers.”

According to a report by Huntington Now, the protesters displayed their dissent outside the Paramount Theater while Griffin was on stage. The caravan, consisting of vehicles decorated with Trump and American flags and anti-Biden signage, paraded through downtown Huntington from Farmingdale. Participants in the caravan engaged in various forms of demonstration, including blaring horns, playing loud music, yelling, and some directing profanity towards the president. One vehicle even emitted an exceptionally loud locomotive horn, while another protester used a cowbell for noise.

During the protest, some individuals directed their anger towards Griffin due to her controversial past actions, notably when she posed with a fake, bloodied replica of Trump’s head in 2017. Despite facing significant backlash for the act, Griffin maintained that it was a form of political satire rather than a genuine threat.
