Imaginative World of Vikings at Universal Epic Universe

Universal Epic Universe is set to unveil a new area inspired by DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon, known as the Isle of Berk. This exciting addition is one of five new cinematic portals in Universal Orlando’s upcoming theme park. The Isle of Berk promises to be a captivating recreation of the Viking dragon village depicted in the beloved film series. With its rocky terrain, carved statues, and quaint shacks, visitors will feel transported to the fantastical world brought to life by Universal Creative.

One of the highlights of the Isle of Berk will be the animatronic dragons scattered throughout the area and attractions. Drawing inspiration from the lifelike dinosaurs found in Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure and the Velocicoaster queue, these dragons are sure to impress visitors with their realism. The addition of animatronics adds an extra layer of immersion to the world of How to Train Your Dragon.

Thrilling Rides and Attractions

Guests can look forward to three major rides at the Isle of Berk. First up is Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, a coaster experience that promises high-flying excitement. Next is Fyre Drill, an interactive water boat adventure that will keep thrill-seekers entertained. Finally, Dragon Racer’s Rally offers a kid-friendly ride that combines high-flying fun with safety for younger visitors. In addition to the rides, visitors can also enjoy a performance inspired by the technological stage marvel seen at Universal Beijing Resorts, known as Untrainable. This performance will retell Hiccup’s iconic tale of friendship with Toothless in a visually stunning manner.

Immersive Experience

For fans of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, the Isle of Berk offers a chance to step into a world where dragons and humans coexist peacefully. From character meet-and-greets to dining options and souvenir shopping, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this vibrant new addition to Universal Epic Universe.
