Bitmagic Launches 3D Games Creation Platform in Steam Early Access
Bitmagic announced the launch of its 3D games creation platform in Steam Early Access today. This platform empowers the average consumer to design games or assets using text prompts. It is currently in a limited release, accessible only through Bitmagic or its Discord. Bitmagic intends to have an open release in May, supporting web browsers and multiplayer features.
Revolutionizing Game Creation
The platform enables users to generate 3D assets simply by entering prompts into a text box. Bitmagic’s system interprets these prompts, constructs assets, and crafts a game around them. Furthermore, users can enhance the game further post-generation.
Jani Penttinen, the CEO of Bitmagic, expressed excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to expand access to more creators and provide them with the opportunity to bring their game ideas to life. We believe our platform has the potential to transform the gaming industry, making the process more accessible and democratized. It allows creators without technical or coding expertise to easily develop immersive 3D games.”
Accessible to All Creators
Last November, Bitmagic initiated a public test for its platform. This creation engine also crafts a backstory for the game world based on the provided concept. It claims to offer everyone the ability to create a game, without the need for coding or technical knowledge.
