The InstructLab project aims to empower domain experts without data science skills to enhance language models by leveraging their knowledge. Using the LAB method developed by IBM Research, InstructLab generates synthetic training data from real-world examples provided by experts. This data is then used to enhance language models and improve their performance.
By allowing continuous improvement and fine-tuning of models through community contributions, InstructLab offers a cost-effective approach to enhancing AI capabilities. Developers can engage with the InstructLab community project for free and then transition to the RHEL AI platform for more advanced models.
OpenShift AI 2.9: Enhancing AI Deployment
Red Hat’s OpenShift AI platform has been upgraded to version 2.9, offering new features for serving both predictive and generative models. With an expanded partner ecosystem, OpenShift AI emphasizes flexibility and choice in AI deployment for customers.
