Tom Brady Honored at Patriots Hall of Fame
Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback who brought the New England Patriots six Super Bowl trophies during his illustrious two-decade career with the team, was inducted into the franchise’s Hall of Fame in a star-studded ceremony.
Former teammates, coaches, and thousands of fans, including celebrities like Jay-Z and Bon Jovi, gathered to celebrate Brady’s legacy as he became the 35th person enshrined into the team’s hall. The event was described as a Patriots family reunion, spanning multiple eras of the team’s history.
“It’s so difficult to put into words what this amazing night means to me and my family,” Brady expressed during the ceremony, visibly moved by the overwhelming support.
Emotional Moments and Special Announcements
Team owner Robert Kraft made a heartfelt announcement, declaring that Brady’s iconic No. 12 jersey would never be worn by another Patriots player, officially retiring the number. Additionally, a 12-foot bronze statue of Brady will be commissioned and placed outside the Patriots Hall of Fame later this year.
The highlight of the evening came when Brady was reunited with former Patriots coach Bill Belichick, receiving an extended ovation from the crowd. Belichick, reflecting on their 20-year partnership, expressed his gratitude for coaching Brady and the incredible contributions he made to the team.
The ceremony featured a red carpet entrance with a lineup of Brady’s former teammates, including Ty Law, Willie McGinest, Randy Moss, Vince Wilfork, Drew Bledsoe, and Rob Gronkowski. Brady’s parents, Tom Sr. and Galynn Brady, were also in attendance, adding a personal touch to the event.

Rapper Jay-Z kicked off the official ceremony with a performance, setting the stage for a series of video tributes from Brady’s rivals over the years, as well as appearances from Boston sports icons like David Ortiz and Matt Damon.
Former Patriots players, including Moss, Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, and Wes Welker, joined Brady on stage, sharing emotional moments and memories. Moss, visibly moved by the crowd’s support, recalled his arrival in New England and the bond he formed with Brady.
Surprise guests like Peyton Manning, engaging in a discussion with Brady and host Mike Tirico, added to the evening’s charm. Manning praised Brady’s competitive spirit and friendship, reminiscing about their on-field clashes over the years.
