Unlocking the Potential of Data Autonomy with The Graph’s Sunrise Upgrade Program

In today’s digital age, a vast amount of information is generated online every day. However, this data is often locked within closed systems, limiting access and usability. The Graph aims to revolutionize the way the world interacts with information by providing a decentralized solution that enables anyone to access data from any source freely. With the recent launch of The Graph’s Sunrise Upgrade Program, individuals now have the opportunity to take control of their data.

Exploring the Sunrise Upgrade Program

The Sunrise Upgrade Program introduces a series of on-chain and off-chain missions designed to support The Graph’s decentralized data phase. Participants in the program have the chance to earn GRT tokens by completing various tasks that contribute to the advancement of decentralized information. The Graph Foundation has allocated 4 million GRT tokens as rewards for those who actively participate in the initiative.

The missions included in the program cover a range of activities, from non-technical tasks like content creation to more technical contributions to The Graph Network. Each successful mission completion earns participants GRT tokens as a token of appreciation for their efforts. The registration for the program opens on May 2nd, with a deadline of June 20th, marking the end of the Upgrade Window.

The program is open to individuals of all levels of expertise in the crypto space, welcoming both seasoned veterans and newcomers alike.

The Mission Categories

The missions within the Sunrise Upgrade Program are divided into two main categories:

  • Web3 Visionary Track: This track focuses on fostering ecosystem growth by educating others about The Graph Network and its users. Participants can contribute by creating educational content and forming partnerships to raise awareness about the upgrades.
  • Web3 Builder Track: This track promotes self-sovereignty over information by tasks such as upgrading subgraphs to The Graph Network. Participants can also assist others with their upgrades and explore existing subgraphs on the network.

To unleash the full potential of Web3 and champion data autonomy, individuals are encouraged to register for missions during the Sunrise Upgrade Program era. Collaboration between members of The Graph community is crucial in driving the adoption of decentralized data practices. Those interested in joining other Graphers in the program can utilize the #sunrise-upgrade-program channel within the official discord server for The Graph.
