Megyn Kelly’s Critique of Don Lemon’s Behavior Towards Elon Musk

Megyn Kelly recently took aim at Don Lemon during one of her podcast episodes for his treatment of Elon Musk, despite the fact that Musk had essentially revitalized Lemon’s career. Lemon had reportedly made a series of outrageous demands before ultimately being let go.

Kelly was joined by members of the ‘Ruthless’ podcast, where she criticized Lemon’s handling of the situation. She highlighted the fact that Lemon had already been fired once again, barely getting his foot in the door before facing the consequences of his actions. According to Kelly, Elon Musk had extended an offer to Lemon to host a new show on X. Musk, known for taking risks, presumably saw this as a daring move. Kelly likened Musk’s decision to the risks he takes in his space ventures, suggesting that offering Lemon a deal was just as adventurous.

Kelly referenced a clip of Bill O’Reilly cautioning against interviewing one’s boss, as seen in the controversial exchange between Lemon and Musk. Kelly characterized Lemon’s behavior towards Musk as ungrateful and disrespectful, noting that it is challenging for Lemon to balance being a journalist and a good employee simultaneously. She emphasized that since Musk was the one paying Lemon’s salary, Lemon owed him a certain level of respect and professionalism.

Despite Lemon’s attempts to save face through a spokesperson threatening legal action, Kelly stood firm in her assessment of the situation. She reiterated that Lemon’s actions reflected poorly on him and demonstrated a lack of gratitude towards Musk for the opportunity to revive his career. Kelly’s criticism of Lemon’s conduct underscored the challenges of maintaining journalistic integrity while navigating professional relationships and obligations.
