Aerospike Secures $109 Million in Funding for AI Database Capabilities

Recently, Aerospike announced a successful funding round, raising $109 million to enhance its AI capabilities and expand its market presence. In 2022, the platform began supporting the JSON document model, followed by the addition of graph database capabilities in 2023.

Despite its current functionalities, the platform is actively working on integrating vector capabilities, set to be released in the near future.

Even without native vector support, Aerospike excels in predictive AI applications, enabling seamless offline model training and result storage within the platform.
