Illegal Immigrants Receiving Extensive Benefits in Massachusetts
Liberal Massachusetts has become a haven for illegal border crossers due to the array of ‘free’ benefits provided by taxpayers in the state. These incentives serve as a driving force for more illegal immigrants to flock to the Bay State, all at the expense of American citizens who are struggling financially and do not receive as much support from the government. Longtime Boston talk host Howie Carr recently posted a comprehensive list of the perks available to illegal aliens in Massachusetts:
FREEBIES FOR ILLEGALS: A Comprehensive List
GENERAL WELFARE COSTS FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS:
- Free hotel rooms at $150+ a day.
- Three meals a day at $64 per person per diem.
- Free on-site medical & dental services (including condoms).
- Special diet for Ramadan.
- Free same-day dry cleaning w/ free pick up & delivery.
- Free housekeeping twice a week.
- Free cell phones, chargers/charging ports.
- Free tablets, iPads.
- Free clothing, new & used.
- New free winter coat, gloves, and shoes for everyone.
- Free toiletries (toothpaste, deodorant, special “ethnic” shampoos, skin cream, aspirin, toothbrushes, feminine products).
“FOR THE CHILDREN”:
- Free diapers, wipes, diaper pails, cribs, bassinets, playpens.
- Free baby bottles, baby formulas, car seats, new mother bags.
- Playrooms for young illegals w/ free toys & books.
This list only scratches the surface of the benefits being provided. As a result, the state is facing financial challenges, especially in funding shelters for illegal immigrants. Off the Press has reported:
Massachusetts is spending approximately $75 million per month on state-run shelters, a significant increase in expenses that has left Governor Maura Healey’s administration scrambling for more funds. Without additional financial support, emergency services are expected to run out of cash by mid-April.
The state legislature has been working tirelessly on a plan to address the rising shelter costs while grappling with lower-than-expected revenues and unyielding demand for services. As the cash reserves dwindle, negotiations are underway to secure a new spending plan that would allow Healey to access critical funds in a timely manner. House Ways and Means Chair Aaron Michlewitz emphasized the urgency of reaching a consensus on the spending bill to avert a financial crisis.
With the imminent depletion of funds, the question remains: what will happen when the money runs out?
